Funshine is a state licensed summer day program for ages 6-12 years old. For over 15 years Funshine has provided children a safe and creative environment to spend their summer holiday. Participants attend weekly swimming and field trips along with daily games, sports and crafts. The program is divided into age appropriate groups.
- Registration is at the Recreation Center
- Parents must verify that they have read and understand the parent manual and attend a parent meeting
- Resident registration: February 1 at 7:00 am
- Non-Resident registration: February 2 at 7:00 am
- A $100.00 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of registration
- Phone or mail-in registration is not permitted
Paperwork Required for 2018 Registration. You cannot register without having completed the documents listed below. All forms are available at the Recreation Center front desk or online at www.brightonrecreation.com
Forms will also be available day of registration.
Funshine 2018 Registration Form must include emergency contacts and medical/dental
information. Proof of Immunization
- An approved CDHPE Immunization Card must be filled out.
- Medication forms are due at 5pm on May 8th.

Extended Camp: 7:30am - 5:30pm $1032/Child
*There is an additional $12 fee for the facility. (Camp t-shirts must be worn on all field trips, there is a $10 fee for replacement).

Tuesday, May 8 from 6-7pm
Camp Nurse will be on hand at 5pm for medication and form intake.
Medication paperwork must be submitted by May 8 for review by a nurse. This includes medications that funshine staff will administer; EpiPens; inhalers; etc.

The staff & registered nurse will be on hand starting at 5:00pm to accept medication documentation & medications.
If payment is not made in full upon registration, the Payment Schedule MUST be followed:
$100 non-refundable due upon registration
50% of remaining balance + $12 facilitiy fee due April 2
Final balance due May 8
